Stefan Junk
Profile
I build AI agents and agentic workflows that drive large-scale cloud migration and digital transformation. At Accenture, I design automation systems that orchestrate migration programs, assess and eliminate vendor lock-in, and transition organizations to open source architectures. My background spans AI startup founding, enterprise cloud transformation, and academic research—giving me a holistic view that bridges business strategy, hands-on engineering, and applied AI.
Focus
- AI Agent Orchestration
- Vendor Lock-in Removal
- Open Source Migration
- GenAI
- Coding Agents
Experience
- Designed and built AI agent workflows automating migration assessment, readiness scoring, and execution coordination across large-scale transformation programs—reducing manual overhead and improving delivery consistency
- Developed vendor lock-in assessment frameworks and open source migration strategies to reduce client dependency on proprietary cloud-native services
- Program/team leadership across discovery, assessment, and migration waves; aligned roadmaps, governance, and delivery plans across engineering, security, and risk
- Portfolio assessment at scale (~700 applications) with migration readiness criteria, requirements engineering, risk management, and stakeholder alignment (non-confidential, no client names)
- Modernization and migration execution for container platforms: migrated ~70 applications to AWS EKS across 4 regions, including cutover planning and operational readiness
- Service preparation and API design for migration to Google Cloud Platform
- Network design as Infrastructure-as-Code for hybrid cloud setup and staging environments in Amazon Web Services
- Business plan design and evaluation of the underlying assumptions, as well as refinement of the business model and the product
- Funding application resulting in 350k€ worth of public funding and a business angel
- Team formation, including recruitment of five persons: an additional co-founder, a data scientist, two developer and a marketing expert
- Development of the minimal viable product, including the design of the software architecture, the user interface, machine learning models, hosting and operation
- Design-to-cost for reliability, focusing on fault-tolerance, radiation-tolerance, disaster recovery while maintaining launch mass and inertia relevant mass.
- Requirements analysis of orbit related power and temperature cycles, as well as power demand and components lifetime were conducted.
- Responsible for the component design, prototyping, flight model production, subsystem and system testing, as well as supplier management and quality assurance
- Analysis and design optimization of high voltage (HV) power systems and components of electric cars, focusing on chargers, battery pack and HV cables.
- Analysis and design optimization of a drive Converter of a electric train, focusing on electromagnetic interferences (EMI) and misbehavior in HV components.
